It’s a sobering statistic, but today, there’s a lot more hope for survival – thanks to advances in treatment options. Olga Villaverde is joined by Dr. Maria-Amelia Rodrigues, a Radiation Oncologist with Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health South Florida, for a closer look at an innovative breast cancer radiation therapy that enables physicians to shape radiation to the tumor, minimizing the dose to healthy tissue.
