Jeremy Renner is celebrating life. The Avengers actor celebrated the one-year anniversary of his release from the ICU after his near-fatal snowplow accident. Renner was run over by his snowplow last January on his Reno, Nevada property.

The Hawkeye star posted a statement on Instagram to celebrate his recovery.

“I was reminded the love, goodwill, hard work, and a legion of good humans are getting me through every day… thank you, bless you… And as always, I hold my promise to be better, be stronger, and grow to surpass potential… Bless you all,” Renner stated.

Renner, 53, wore a workout attire in the photo posted on social media. He smiled while carrying his water bottle and tote bag. Many of his fans started to flood the comments with positive messages. Some fans called him a source of inspiration.

“You have inspired the world Jeremy,” one fan wrote.

The accident was a scary one indeed… Renner broke more than 30 bones and underwent multiple surgeries. He has expressed sincere gratitude since the injury while on his journey of recovery. He made his first public appearance last April during the red-carpet premiere of his Disney+ series ‘Rennervations.’

“I’m overflowing with gratitude and excitement… I’ve felt in a very, very long time, you know? Because it’s not a movie that I’m promoting, It’s not a show, it’s my, it’s my life, man, this is what I do,” he said while attending the event with his daughter Ava Berlin Renner.

The actor returned to work for the first time since the incident last Wednesday, working on set of Mayor of Kingstown. He mentioned how he had first-day jitters returning to work in a post on Instagram.

“Day one on set… nervous today. Hope this works out that I can ACTUALLY pull this off for our production and more importantly the fans,” he wrote.

One thing for certain is fans are rooting for Renner to continue to recover and can’t wait to see him return to the big screen. One potential project that has been swirling around the Marvel fanbase is the return of his iconic character, Hawkeye. It is rumored he could return for the new Avengers: The Kang Dynasty movie set to release in 2026.
